About the event
Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global occurs July 11-12, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm local time each day. Mega Mewtwo X and Y debut alongside Zeraora!
Celebrating 10 years, this year's Global GO Fest is FREE! Log in during the weekend for bonuses, Special Research, and a higher chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon at no cost!
Mega Mewtwo X and Y are the event stars, capable of Mega Evolving, including previously caught Mewtwo. They require more Mega Energy, available from Mega Mewtwo Super Mega Raids for the first time during the event. Catching Mega Mewtwo from these raids grants at least one unlocked Mega Level, possibly even Level 2 or 3, allowing Mega Evolution without initial energy cost.
Defeat Mega Mewtwo X or Y in Super Mega Raids to obtain the necessary energy for their Mega Evolution.
